Wright exhibition team pilot and instructor. Born Dayton, Ohio July 11, 1888. Died April 29, 1953. Brookins had known the Wrights from age four, and had been a student of Katharine Wright. Brookins was the first to be trained by Orville Wright, and was one of the most daring and accomplished of all the Wright team. He retired from aviation and spent his later yers in the automotive service industry.
