Co-inventor of the airplane. Born April 16, 1867, Millville, Indiana. Died May 30, 1912, Dayton, Ohio. Wilbur Wright had always been skeptical of the value of exhibition flying, and often admonished the team pilots for dangerous flying. Wilbur had little to do with the team, as he was preoccupied at the time with lawsuits, particularly with Glenn Curtiss. He died of typhoid soon after the team was disbanded.
